At the end of June we had a Puanga celebration at our Centre. It was the day after a snow day closed our Centre and the night was cold, but that didn't stop our Nancy Winter whānau from joining our kaiako for the Puanga celebration. There was twinkling lights in the trees, waiata, kani kani, karakia and kai and the opportunity to play at our place at night. Thank you to all who came and celebrated the Māori New Year with us.
Kua haehae ngā hihi o Matariki.
The rays of Matariki are spread.
